Job Description

MAINTENANCE I - ENTRY LEVEL (HY0023) - Corpus Christi, TX
This is a full-time, hourly position.
We are looking for a high potential individual ready to take on challenges and responsibilities within our Maintenance department at the Corpus Christi, TX Grain facility.

Assignments
Potential assignment may include, but are not limited to:
  • Daily maintenance work on equipment and machinery both routine and complex
  • Operation of powered industrial equipment (Skidsteer, forktruck, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot mechanical failures
  • Installation of large equipment with hoists and/or cranes
  • Fabrication
Qualifications
To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Must be able to understand and follow company safety procedures
  • Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
  • Willing to work weekends, holidays, on-call, overtime, and 2nd shift if needed
  • Team player that displays the initiative and drive to work alone
  • Electrical knowledge and welding experience are preferred
  • Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card (transportation worker identification card)
  • High Mechanical Aptitude
  • Able to meet physical requirements including: prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, working in confined spaces or from heights, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dusty, etc.), and the ability to lift 50lbs. unassisted
  • Ability to Multitask
  • Exhibit a professional image; maintain a positive and respectful attitude
