About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician I - Entry Level to join our team at Archer Daniels Midland Company. As a key member of our Maintenance department, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex maintenance work on equipment and machinery, operating powered industrial equipment, and troubleshooting mechanical failures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily maintenance work on equipment and machinery, including routine and complex tasks
  • Operate powered industrial equipment, such as skid-steer loaders and forklifts
  • Troubleshoot mechanical failures and perform repairs
  • Install large equipment using hoists and cranes
  • Perform fabrication tasks as needed
Requirements
  • Must be able to understand and follow company safety procedures
  • Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
  • Willing to work weekends, holidays, on-call, overtime, and 2nd shift if needed
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Electrical knowledge and welding experience preferred
  • Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card (transportation worker identification card)
  • High mechanical aptitude
  • Able to meet physical requirements, including prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and working in confined spaces or from heights
  • Ability to multitask
  • Exhibit a professional image and maintain a positive and respectful attitude
