Senior Product Management - Genomics

Truveta is the world's first health provider led data platform with a vision of Saving Lives with Data. Our mission is to enable researchers to find cures faster, empower every clinician to be an expert, and help families make the most informed decisions about their care. Achieving Truveta's ambitious vision requires an incredible team of talented and inspired people with a special combination of health, software and big data experience who share our company values.

Truveta was born in the Pacific Northwest, but we have employees who live across the country. Our team enjoys the flexibility of a hybrid model and working from anywhere. In person attendance is required for one week during the year for Truveta Planning Week.

For overall team productivity, we optimize meeting hours in the pacific time zone. We avoid scheduling recurring meetings that start after 3pm PT, however, ad hoc meetings occur between 8am-6pm Pacific time.

Who We Need

Truveta is rapidly building a talented and diverse team to tackle complex health and technical challenges. Beyond core capabilities, we are seeking problem solvers, passionate and collaborative teammates, and those willing to roll up their sleeves while making a difference. This Opportunity

In this role, you will drive the roadmap and business objectives for Truveta's genomics program and product portfolio. You will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy for integrating genomics into the Truveta Data platform and Truveta Studio applications. This includes identifying key opportunities for innovation in the genomics space, managing cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions, and ensuring that our genomics offerings meet the highest standards of data quality, usability, and compliance. This is an individual contributor role.

A successful Senior Product Manager at Truveta is one who:
  • Has a strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex genomic challenges into clear, actionable product plans
  • Is customer-focused, working actively to understand the research, analytic, and data needs of our customers
  • Is very detail oriented and unafraid to roll up their sleeves and dive directly into the data if needed to better understand our products and needs of customers
  • Is energized through cross-team collaboration and building products with a large set of stakeholders
  • Is an excellent written and oral communicator ranging from customer-facing scenarios to highly-technical internal conversations
Key Qualifications
  • Master's degree or PhD in genomics, bioinformatics, or a related field, with specialized training in next-generation sequencing (NGS), genomic data analysis, and their application in clinical and/or research settings.
  • 5+ years of leading product management with a proven record of conceiving, developing, and launching successful genomics products
  • Deep understanding of real-world healthcare data (RWD), including EHRs, claims, and imaging, and how these datasets intersect with genomic data to drive clinical research and innovation in the life sciences, biopharma, and medical device industries.
  • Able to work with teams on west coast hours. We celebrate and embrace a distributed team that works well together remotely and meets at least twice per year in person.
