As a Senior Product Manager for Data Democratization, you will focus on identifying, defining, and addressing the needs and pain points across all data user archetypes within the organization. You will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy, driving the development of data platform tools, standards, governance, and infrastructure that ensure data accessibility and usability across the organization.

Your data democratization platform will deliver a simple, centralized, technology-agnostic ingress and usability. Your product roadmap will keep pace with industry-leading technology and AI capabilities that serve both batch-centric and real-time event-streaming service needs for users and enterprise applications. Collaboration is key to bringing great ideas to life

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Vision:

  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to drive alignment and support for data initiatives.

Product Development:

  • Lead the development and enhancement of the Data Product Hub, ensuring it meets user needs and supports strategic goals. Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization.
  • Prioritize features and improvements based on user feedback, business impact, and technical feasibility.

Data Governance and Security:

  • Work closely with data governance and security teams to ensure data integrity, compliance, and security.
  • Develop policies and best practices for metadata management, data usage, and sharing.

User Education and Enablement:

  • Drive initiatives to improve data literacy across the organization, including training programs and self-service tools.
  • Advocate for intuitive user interfaces and experiences that enhance data accessibility.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of data democratization efforts.
  • Regularly report on progress and outcomes to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on data products or data platforms.
  • 2+ years of direct product ownership and proven track record of successfully launching and managing data products.
