Job Summary:


As a Senior Product Manager at Fierce, you play a pivotal role in the success of our product. Your responsibilities include leading product development and overseeing day-to-day execution with teams of world-class engineers and designers. You drive the product vision in collaboration with cross-functional teams, define product requirements, and create a data-driven roadmap. Additionally, you are responsible for setting production schedules, guiding the team through critical milestones, and establishing success metrics for both the product and the team, ensuring our platform meets the evolving needs of our B2B fashion clients. You will also participate in go-to-market and monetization strategy as a key member of the team. 


Key Responsibilities:


Define Product Features and Requirements:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and translate customer needs and business goals into clear product features.
  • Develop detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.


Create and Manage Product Roadmaps:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align product vision with business objectives.
  • Develop a clear, strategic roadmap that aligns with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Prioritize features based on impact, feasibility, and resource availability.
  • Set sprint schedules and hold teams accountable for high quality and timely delivery of work. Own the execution of the product development schedule.
  • Utilize data for prioritization and decision making and drive buy in across teams.
  • Monitor industry trends and technological advancements to ensure our product stays ahead of market demands and capabilities.


Sprint Planning and Management:

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to break down product features into actionable tasks and define sprint goals.
  • Manage sprint schedules, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews, ensuring smooth execution of development cycles.
  • Ensure sprint timelines and deliverables are met, removing roadblocks for the team.
  • Hold teams accountable for high quality and timely delivery of work. 


Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure product features are implemented effectively.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and development teams, facilitating clear communication.


Establish Production Schedules:

  • Work with engineering to develop detailed timelines for product feature implementation.
  • Track and adjust schedules as necessary to ensure on-time delivery of key milestones.


Monitor and Measure Product Performance:

  • Establish success metrics and KPIs for product features and team performance.
  • Track progress and measure the impact of product changes through data analysis and user feedback.


Ensure Product Quality:

  • Collaborate with QA teams to define testing strategies and ensure that all product releases meet quality standards.
  • Manage beta programs or early access for new features to gather real-world feedback before broader release.


Stakeholder Communication:

  • Communicate progress, risks, and roadblocks to stakeholders regularly.
  • Provide detailed updates on sprint progress and release timelines to leadership and other relevant teams.


Drive Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously gather feedback from customers, stakeholders, and team members to refine product development processes.
  • Identify areas for improvement in development efficiency, product performance, and user experience.


Manage Go-to-Market Plans:

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and support teams to develop and deploy go-to-market strategy for new products and features.
  • Be an active partner with Marketing and Data Analytics in developing and executing learning plans and customer research to prove out product market fit. Plan prioritize features launches accordingly.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure clear, cohesive product messaging for successful product feature development, announcements and launches.


Team Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Lead, inspire and mentor a team of product managers, in the future. 
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Ensure seamless communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams and leadership team, driving north south and east west communication across the company with the product roadmap as the source of truth for every stakeholder.
  • Be the most informed person in the room, the subject matter expert, the sherpa of the product.  Take proud ownership for driving to effective, efficient, well considered decision making to move fast every day to drive to launch.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related field. An MBA or MS is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in a B2B or fashion technology environment. 
  • Experience with 3D video game technologies (game engines, 3D art production, animation).
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
  • Experience managing technical products or online services.
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong EQ with an ability to meet people where they are and encourage collaboration and compromise in service of the best possible product at every turn.

  • Bonus: Knowledge of and experience in digital fashion and e-commerce.
