Monday-Friday (8:00 am-5:00pm) Competitive Pay - $18.00+ an hour (depending on experience) Expedited Interviews – Access to additional Resume support and pre-interview questions Great Benefits – Take advantage of a Blue Cross Blue Shield benefits package (Dental, vision, 401k) Top Local Company – Join one of the largest employers and hospitals within the Hampton Roads area A day in the role… This is a back -end PAT (level 2) each back end PATII is assigned 6-7 providers This team supports all Mental Health Therapy Services They will work in multiple systems - PowerCharts, Eclipses and EPIC, as well as Microsoft Outlook for provider requests via email First thing they do is log into systems and will be constantly checking power chart messages - they are assigned specific # providers (each provider for therapy sessions sees about 6-7 patients per day- 60 min appointments) Responsible for caseload maintenance and make sure patients don’t fall off provider scheduler for provider care Responsible for discharge letters Cancelling clinic days if provider is out -they will call to reschedule all patients In the requests, they are getting follow up requests from providers so they will call and schedule these patients Insurance verification - responsible for verifying insurance on providers schedule- they typically do this Monday for the entire week. But will be responsible for checking the DAR -daily report / schedule if new appointments are added and verify insurance Scanning of documents into charts Will help with phone call overflow if needed Necessary Skills and Strengths: Strong Computer Skills | Great Customer/Patient Service | Medical Terminology | Patient Registration | Medical Insurance Knowledge | Insurance Payer Knowledge | EMR Systems | Copay Collections | Multi-Tasking | Fast Paced Environment Core Experience: Medical Receptionist (1+ years of experience) Patient Registration Patient Access EPIC Experience About TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
