Required Skills:
• Expert with prompt engineering and tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) for application specific use cases
• Expert with Python scripting for data science related work and building models
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and Javascript driven frameworks to integrate AI solutions and models into application code
• Experience in delivering secure code as part of a software development lifecycle
• Experience working with large data sets, generating synthetic data, and deriving models and predictive algorithms
• Experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) to optimize AI use cases and expand context windows
• Deep understanding of data science, linear algebra, algorithms, and statistics
• Familiarity with DevOps approaches such as Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Linux and other Command Line Interfaces (CLIs) technologies
• Willingness to participate in and learn from our Agile Project Management and Scrum processes while operating in a geographically distributed project environment

Activities:
• Discuss, Develop, Communicate, & Lead Regscale's ML strategy, including internal and core product usage.
• Stay up-to-date on state-of-the-art AI/ML advances which may have impact on Regscale's internal and core products.
• Develop Cutting-Edge New AI/ML-enabled Product features
• Improve AI/ML adoption for RegScale customers throughout our platform
• Develop Testing & Validation Toolsets for Ensuring Compliance-Specific AI/ML technologies are performing accurately
• Develop Regscale's internal toolset for working with machine learning systems, including but not limited to: Large Language Models, Document Clustering Algorithms, Image Segmentation & Classification Algorithms
• Develop new ML Models based on Regscale's proprietary datasets, providing a competitive moat in the market
• Develop new tools and subsystems to integrate ML technologies into Regscale's core product
• Develop differentiated features and models that increase our AI market lead in the Risk and Compliance industry
• Write content for AI/ML technical blog posts, research papers, and patents for Regscale, demonstrating Regscale's prowess in AI/ML adoption for hiring, investing, and customer enjoyment reasons
• Work with vendors, contractors, and Cloud providers to access and deploy state of the art AI/ML models
• Perform scheduled jobs to update and enrich or generate synthetic data
• Support containerized workloads in the RegScale SaaS environment
• Deliver assigned user stories while working in an Agile Project management environment
• Self-starter who will continuously learn and develop
• Develop technical documentation in Markdown language or within Wikis
• Delivering on schedule for assigned customer deliverables

Education/Training, Qualifications, and Certification:
• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar technical/engineering degree and 10 years experience, or
• Minimum of Master's Degree in Computer Science or similar technical/engineering degree with 7 years of professional experience
• Non-degree - minimum of 20 years experience in IT with direct and extensive Python, AI, and ML development experience and related certifications in data engineering and/or data science
• Strong written and verbal communication skills while being a team player
• Ideal candidate will AI and Data Science related certifications
• Must be a US Citizen and capable of passing a background check and random periodic drug testing
• Must be willing to work in the Knoxville, TN R&D office up to 50% in a hybrid developer role
