Job Title: Production Engineer - Vision Specialist

Job Description

Under limited supervision, designs, develops, and deploys AI-based vision systems to improve manufacturing and assembly processes. Utilizes advanced machine learning and computer vision techniques to enhance production quality and efficiency. Collaborates cross-functionally with engineering, production, and quality teams to integrate vision systems into automation equipment. Focuses on the development, testing, and optimization of real-time image processing algorithms and machine learning models. Self-starter capable of managing multiple projects with minimal direction. Acts as a subject matter expert within the department and coordinates similar initiatives across the Region providing training and support to team members and other professionals.

Hard Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field

  • 2 or more years of relevant experience

  • Proven experience in developing and deploying AI-based vision systems in an industrial or manufacturing setting

  • Strong experience in machine learning, computer vision, and image processing techniques

  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar

  • Knowledge of deep learning frameworks and tools for vision applications
