#Youth24 Primarily serve in an administrative support capacity to the Director of Economic Development Type and compose letters, memorandums, and emails in accordance with known procedures Handle incoming and prepare outgoing department correspondence Answer department telephone Schedule meetings Assist Director with research and preparation of documents and materials for projects, meetings, and events Perform data entry and editing on economic development website Perform computer filling, paper filling, and database entry and coordination for database systems on all associated business matters Reconcile monthly credit card statement and other statements for the Director Perform purchasing administration Any other job duties designated by management Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum Experience: 2 years of secretarial experience required Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Adobe, personal computers and peripheral office equipment, such as copiers, calculators and other equipment required Typing speed: 65 wpm required Valid Texas Driver's License required (due to traveling to other locations, when needed) Shift: Full Time / Days / Monday - Friday Pay Details: $37,729 annually (employer will discuss at interview) Background requirements: Candidates must pass a drug screen and a background check. Convictions will be reviewed on case-by-case basis; convictions will not necessarily bar a candidate's employment.
