Job Summary:
Route 1 Hyundai is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Consultant to join our team in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey. As a Hyundai Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling new and used Hyundai vehicles to customers, providing exceptional customer service, and meeting sales targets. This is a full-time position with a base salary and commission structure. May train if you have sales experience and fit the role. 

Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this role consists of a base salary plus commission structure, with expected earnings ranging from $100,000 to $225,000 per year. In addition, we offer paid weekly, health benefits, 401k, and employee discounts on vehicles and services.

Responsibilities:
• Meet and exceed sales targets set by dealership management
• Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Understand and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Hyundai vehicles and their features
• Conduct test drives and product demonstrations for potential customers
• Negotiate and close deals to meet and exceed profitability goals
• Educate customers on available financing and leasing options
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and service
• Keep up-to-date with product knowledge, market trends, and competitor information
• Follow up with prospective customers and maintain relationships with existing ones
• Complete paperwork and document transactions accurately and efficiently
• Attend and participate in sales meetings and trainings

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Previous sales experience in the automotive industry
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• In-depth knowledge of Hyundai vehicles and their features
• Strong customer service and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Proficient in MS Office
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
