Position Summary:
The Automotive Service Consultant plays a crucial role in promoting and selling our diverse range of products and services while adhering to company standards and expectations.

Compensation: $40,000 to $60,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers professionally and courteously, both in-person and over the phone, utilizing standardized customer service techniques.
  • Accurately document customer concerns, inspect vehicles, and refer to service history to identify service needs.
  • Recommend appropriate services based on knowledge and communicate additional recommendations from technicians clearly to customers.
  • Promote the sale of services, parts, and accessories by demonstrating product knowledge and service requirements.
  • Provide customers with accurate quotes detailing costs and estimated completion times for approved services, along with regular updates on service status.
  • Follow established procedures for processing customer transactions, including reviewing completed inspections and explaining warranties.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction regarding completed services and declined recommendations.
  • Track returns, core returns, and warranty parts for customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Automotive Service Consultant is expected to comply with all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and to exhibit behaviors consistent with the company's standards and expectations.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Professional appearance and ability to thrive in a process-driven environment.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license or obtain one within 30 days of hire.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a State Inspector License within 30 days of hire.
  • ASE Certified Service Consultant Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Availability to work a minimum of five days, including weekends.
