What you will do: Apply deep technical knowledge of federal and private grants administration and compliance to provide support to universities, non-profit entities and commercial organizations proposing on and receiving federal and other grant funding. Design and establish policies, procedures, systems, and protocols for new recipients of federal funds Interpret, analyze, and apply federal, state, local, and private, guidelines including but not limited to federal Uniform Guidance and/or agency-specific requirements (e.g., NIH, NSF, DoE, USAID), grant and proposal specific terms and conditions, and institutional policy Support clients to understand and address emerging regulatory guidance Assess applicants' control environment and systems to as ess compliance with grant and regulatory guidance. Advise clients on compliant and efficient grants administration across the grants lifecycle, including in the areas of:award setup and budgeting, cost accounting and allocation, cost monitoring and trend analysis cost allowability, subaward monitoring, invoicing, financial and progress reporting, financial reconciliation, subaward management, cost transfers, cost share and effort commitment, conflicts of interest, and regulatory compliance Support clients to ensure compliance with federal and sponsor guidelines and client policies. Provide informational and training resources for institutional management and researchers Use your time management skills to work on multiple clients concurrently Serve as a technical resource for team members across BT teams on the topic of grants administration and compliance Support firm-wide coordinated initiatives to provide exceptional client service for recipients of federal funds Qualifications Bachelor's degree 10+ year(s) experience performing grants administration and compliance at a university or nonprofit entity. In-depth understanding of US Federal funding compliance requirements and practices. Knowledge and familiarity of sponsor funding requirements such as NSF, DOD, DOE, NIH, USAID Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail. Exceptional oral and written communication, collaboration, and time management skills. Additional Information For California, Colorado, New York and Washington: The compensation range for this role is $163,620 to $346,800.
