Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join our team at ALSAC. This role will focus on managing, expanding, and enhancing a portfolio of workplace giving campaigns. In this position, you will be driving revenue and fostering strong relationships with corporate partners to support ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Account Management:
- Serve as the primary Account Manager for a portfolio of workplace giving campaigns.
- Develop and execute measurable strategic account plans to expand workplace giving efforts in key ALSAC areas.
- Collaborate with the Director to maximize revenue potential and cultivate strong relationships across ALSAC and with corporate partners.
- Engage with area leaders to develop and deploy company-specific workplace-giving strategies and resources.
- Utilize data analytics to develop strategies that enhance outcomes within employee giving campaigns.
- Analyze performance metrics of workplace-giving partners and maintain accurate data in the DMS for current and prospective partners.
- Create and implement plans for workplace giving partners, including payroll deduction, matching gifts, workplace fundraisers, and other employee engagement events.
- Measure the progress and performance of these campaigns to ensure successful outcomes.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills across various platforms, including electronic, written, face-to-face, telephone, and video conferences.
- Represent ALSAC/St. Jude at high-level corporate meetings, charity fairs, conferences, and other events to promote employee engagement programs.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of hospital activities, goals, and current medical research and advances.
- Stay informed about business developments, transactions, and changes in the corporate marketplace relevant to ALSAC/St. Jude.
- Assist in coordinating corporate employee engagement stewardship activities, such as lunches, dinners, receptions, hospital visits, patient interaction activities, and tours.
- Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of experience in Development, including successful management experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Employee Engagement, Workplace Giving, and Matching Gift programs.
- Proven ability to work within a complex environment and demonstrate strong planning, organizing, managing, and facilitating skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, peers, and internal and external partners.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to build successful relationships with supporters of ALSAC/St. Jude.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
