Essential Job Functions
- Determine Credit worthiness of all groups seeking payment terms, make recommendations and seek approval from management for granting credit.
- Ensure successful collection of all accounts as designated by credit policy
- Knowledge and execution of all accounts receivable procedures, systems, and credit policies.
- Responsible for developing and implementing all Accounts Receivable procedures.
- Responsible for accuracy and integrity of all documents pertaining to Finance department. i.e.: check requests, credit refunds, adjustments, etc
- Responsible for reviewing and explaining all items found on A/R aging reports.
- Monthly reconciliation of Audio-Visual vendor invoices.
- Management of staff, special projects, and day-to-day oversight of the department.
- Responsible for overseeing training of all Accounts Receivable staff.
- Support Billing Coordinator's by assisting, reviewing, and collecting master accounts when necessary.
- Responsible to assign and maintain all Trade out accounts and set up or improve procedures as necessary.
- Assist with Employee Relation issues.
- Prescreening and interviewing applicants for open positions.
- Associate timekeeping.
- Analytical skills and initiative are essential to ensure accuracy of Accounts Receivable balances.
High School Diploma required; bachelor's degree required. Must have prior hotel experience, preferably in an accounts receivable role.
