For our North American headquarters, located in La Mirada, California, we have an immediate opening for an Outside Sales Manager/Solutions Manager.
Summary
The Solutions Manager is responsible for identifying business development opportunities and new market revenue streams. Your focus is generating sales and interest for markets and customers in various industry segments.
The Solutions Manager works with customers to understand their indoor air quality problems and identify IQAir technology to resolve their issues. The primary role of the Solutions Manager and the Solutions team is to prospect for new business by networking, cold calling, or other means of generating interest from potential customers. This role will require a thorough knowledge of IQAir products, solutions and services, the market and of our competitors.

- Experience with and knowledge of B2C and B2B consultative and educational selling
- Technical aptitude to understand product line and applicability to customer's needs
- The ability to manage, plan, set and monitor company goals and sales activities as well as work effectively under pressure in dealing with multiple priorities simultaneously
- High-attention-to-detail, flexibility, follow-through and organizational skills
- Working manager for Solutions Team to include Solution Engineers and Solution Specialists
- Create strategic partnerships that elevate IQAir's brand and recognition
- Work with the CEO to develop short and long-term tactical business development strategies
- Ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities through converting leads to prospects, and collaboration with marketing to generate leads
- Arrange and participate in internal and external customer meetings and debriefs; create proposals and presentations that address customer's requirements
- Develop knowledge and/or remain current in marketplace trends and be able to understand competitive pressures that could potentially hinder opportunities for market/account growth.
- Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and industry trends
- Present to and consult with other team leaders on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and customer channels.
- Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company's ERP and CRM system
- Accurately quote and explain pricing, credit terms and oversee preparation of proposals and contracts
- Contact Center Management
- Responsible for the execution and follow up with Solutions Specialists and Solutions Engineers regarding the implementation of new scripts, P&Ps and any updated training materials to ensure presentation consistency of the IQAir brand
- Responsible for maintaining the Department Handbook; FAQs; updating and documenting policies and procedures as needed
- Coach and mentor team members to achieve high levels of success by providing guidance and training as needed
- Responsible for developing and maintaining the IQAir product and Indoor Air Quality training
- Schedule and ensure coverage in the Clean Air Experience Center Responsible for all Clean Air Experience Operations
- Other projects as assigned
At IQAir, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this position is between $90,000.00 and $100,000 annually. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications and experience.
