ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Enter commands, using computer terminal and active controls on computer and peripheral equipment to integrate and operate equipment.
  • Monitor the system for equipment failure or errors in performance.
  • Respond to program error messages by finding and correcting problems or terminating the program.
  • Notify supervisor or computer maintenance technicians of equipment malfunctions.
  • Answer telephone calls to assist computer users encountering problems.
  • Using SysAid program, record information such as IT support tech time, problems that occurred, and actions taken.
  • Operate spreadsheet programs and other types of software to load and manipulate data and produce reports.
  • Retrieve, separate and sort program output as needed and send data to specified users.
  • Oversee the operation of computer hardware systems, including coordinating and scheduling the use of computer terminals and networks to ensure efficient use.
  • Load peripheral equipment with selected materials for operating runs or oversee loading of peripheral equipment by peripheral equipment operators.
  • Ensure that the nightly backups have completed as scheduled, and assist in labeling, classifying, cataloging and maintaining tapes.
  • Clear equipment at end of operating run and review schedule to determine next assignment.
  • Server, desktop, mobile and network infrastructure support. (All versions of Windows, Mac OS, iOS)
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support.
  • Install and configure specialized line of business applications, as well as troubleshoot.
  • Deploy, troubleshoot, and provide training for mobile devices. (Phones and tablets)
  • Must be able to effectively support user based with Windows troubleshooting skills in Windows 10 operating systems.
  • Must be able to configure and deploy multiple machines in a variety of settings.
  • Must be able to effectively capture user concerns and defectively resolve them to the satisfaction of the customer and the user
  • Ability to back up IT User Support Specialist
  • Must be willing to work outside his or her zone of assignment to fulfill general park needs on occasion
  • Ensure compliance with all Herschend Family Entertainment and Wild Adventures policies and procedures
  • Represents the company to guests and other team members in a positive and friendly manner
  • Satisfies Wild Adventure’s standards for performance and conduct. For example, reports to work regularly and on time
  • “Create Memories Worth Repeating” for our Guests by exceeding guest expectations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
