Position Overview: KODA Technologies is seeking a Senior Communications Network Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency mission on Redstone Arsenal. What you'll be doing: Provide technical expertise for tactical communications equipment in support of research, development and integration efforts. Support the Missile Defense Agency with the Deployment, Testing, Integration and Upgrading of the THAAD missile system equipment pieces of the Tactical Operations Station (TOS) and Launch Control System (LCS) Follow detailed test procedures in a fast-paced field environment. Travel to various locations specified by the Missile Defense Agency in support of THAAD operations and testing. Deploy and provide support for various Tactical Communication systems. Required Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering and 8+ years of experience or 14+ years related experience in lieu of a degree. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS with short notification times to support the Warfighter. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Good interpersonal skills. Deep understanding of Tactical Communications Systems and/or Tactical Networking. Ability to support mission requirements during evenings and weekends as scheduled. Experience integrating and deploying LOS and SATCOM-related systems in one or more of the following: SMART-T, SNAP, CPN, and JNN. Ability to create and edit configurations for CISCO routers, switches, and firewalls as they pertain to current and future network infrastructure. Must be able to obtain/maintain a US Passport. Desired Skills: Knowledge of Link-16 Data protocols Ability to research, test and understand communication equipment and provide organized thoughts and suggestions in reference to that equipment in a concise and understandable manner. Travel Requirement: Up to 50% Clearance: Minimum of Interim clearance to begin and maintain a Secret Clearance.
