Department OverviewThe Sales Operations team plays a vital role inside the Motorola Solutions Ecosystem, this team works with multiple partners to smooth out any cracks in the sales process around multiple business units.Job Description The Sr Sales Support Specialist is responsible for the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team in terms of reporting and data analytics. They will maintain the CRM system to ensure data accuracy, develop reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales performance, and identify opportunities for process improvements. They will work closely with sales leadership to support strategic planning and goal setting, assist with sales forecasting, and contribute to the development of sales strategies through data-driven insights. Portions of this business will be global in nature and may require meetings outside of typical business hours. *Responsibilities include: * Maintain and develop Salesforce CRM and Tableau reports and dashboards, ensuring data integrity and optimizing workflows Create and maintain Current View "CV" forecast for each business unit and a roll up as well as a reporting methodology to show the Actual orders to the forecast view on a daily basis. Develop strategies and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality and productivity as well as apply data cleansing techniques and develop new data acquisition methods Initiate and oversee a project to clean up the POS vertical market reporting and validation process. Manage ad hoc projects in order to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness Participate in data analysis/validation and User Acceptance Testing for Sales Operations Support sales teams with planning and operational tasks as well as with custom opportunities and operational tasks Assist in sales compensation and commission calculations Other duties as assigned *Additional Skills: * 5+ years experience in Sales Operations with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of 10+ years Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Tableau sales applications - report and dashboard creation, knowledge of sales cycle and territory management.
