Position Summary

The business Development Representative are the cold callers as outbound sales representative focusing on higher-end commercial and enterprise opportunities understanding the revenue generation strategies and strategic marketing directed by the Inside Sales Manager.

What You'll Do:

  • Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
  • Understanding customers’ needs and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Answering potential customers’ questions and sending additional information as needed.
  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
  • Demonstrating features of products and services to prospects.
  • Staying informed about competing products and services.
  • Upselling products and services.
  • Researching and qualifying inbound leads.
  • Identifying new leads and managing outbound sales initiatives.
  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Understanding complex user needs for all the Mitutoyo’s products and services, and communicating feedback and questions to sales, marketing, and development teams.

Supervision: There are no supervisory duties associated with this position.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Monday – Friday 8:30 am 5:00 pm

Required Education and Experience: Associates degree or high school/general education diploma plus 2 years if relevant experience in lieu of degree. Outbound call center or related sales experience, Microsoft Office suite, CRM software
