Manahawkin Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator to assist with various activites within the facility. The main responsibility of this postion is to ensure residents feel at home and have the best stay possible. This person will help in various departments with tasks to enhance the residents stay.

This is a full time position.

Some of the job duties may include:

- Room Checks- ensure open rooms are tour ready and move in ready

- Identify and prepare for pending discharges- work with Social Services

- Review the daily menu and check on preferences (ie alternate menu)

- Continusouly make rounds to check on resident wants/needs

- Answer calls light as able and appropriate

- Schedule with families on admission to get admission packets completed

- Notify Residents of upcoming facility activities (ie bingo, entertainment)

Job Qualifications:

- Previous experience in healthcare is helpful but not necessary

Physical Requirements:

-Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day, proper body mechanics required-bending, stooping, turning, stretching, reaching above the shoulders are involved
• -Must be able to cope with the mental, emotional, and physical stress of the position.
• -Must be able to observe, listen and communicate effectively
• -Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, support agencies, and outside agencies
• - Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within the facility.
