We are currently looking for an Activity Assistant to join our team at The Shores, a vibrant Senior Care Community located in a beautiful coastal area.

Qualifications for the Activity Assistant Role:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- CNA certification is required.
- Preferred completion of a 90-hour activity course.
- Minimum of one year of general work experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and scheduling community activities and programs, ensuring effective communication with residents to encourage participation.
- Conduct assigned programs, including individual visits.
- Support residents during outings and field trips.
- Facilitate transportation for residents to and from activities.
- Maintain accurate attendance records for residents.
- Assist in documentation, including daily attendance and individual visit records.
- Collaborate with local community groups to develop joint projects that benefit residents.
- Ensure availability of supplies for various activities and programs.
- Contribute to residents' care planning by providing insights on assessments, care plan goals, and progress notes.
- Support the CNA in household tasks such as bed making, light housekeeping, and providing assistance during meals.
