The Associate Patient Care Coordinator is responsible to the Center Administrator and provides appointment scheduling, patient registration, cashiering, answers incoming calls and performs other related clerical functions. This primary role provides front office support functions.
Hours : Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Location : 145 Thunder Drive, Vista, CA
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manages medical records (maintains, files/scans, prepares for schedule)
- Must also be capable of solving routine problems, prioritizing, and meeting set deadlines, respond to patient questions in person or over the phone and work with others as part of a team.
- The position will manage patient medical records via faxes, mail, scanning, copying and request for medical records for 20 providers and 9000 lives
- Ensures all correspondence is scanned and/or filed, processes requests for medical records release and maintains appropriate logs, etc.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public
- Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of experience in customer service
- 1+ years of related work experience including data entry
- Basic level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- 1+ years of experience with medical office processes
- Prior experience with EMR computer applications (Epic software)
California Residents Only: The hourly range for California residents is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour . Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable .
