Job Description The Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group is comprised of over 700 employed physicians and advanced practice providers. Together with our four medical centers (Kapi‘olani, Pali Momi, Straub, and Wilcox) and more than 50 convenient clinic locations statewide, our nonprofit health system is one of the state’s largest health care providers. Our network of physicians and specialists work together to provide a distinctive and effective model of coordinated care for maintaining the health and wellness of our patients. In this role, you will serve as the leader for the physicians and advanced practice providers within Pedatrics. You will also provide clinical leadership, coordination, and ensure collaboration amongst HPHMG providers across Hawai‘i Pacific Health or its affiliates. The HPHMG Chief of Pediatrics oversees the work of their respective HPH Division Chiefs including providing key leadership into the development and implementation of system wide clinical standards, clinical care coordination, input into the strategic planning process and program deveopment, physician recruiting and retention, and promotion of physician professionalism and well-being. In addition, the chief must been all qualifications to be a Medical School Department Chair and hold the concurrent position as Chair, Department of Pediatrics at the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM), University of Hawai‘i. If you are a passionate leader, you could be the ideal candidate for this role. Current Hawai‘i license to practice medicine. Managerial experience in healthcare administration/medical management or equivalent. Extensive prior clinical experience. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Business Administration, Public Health, or Healthcare Administration. Completion of Physician Leadership Training.
