Description

Identification, Cultivation, Solicitation, and Stewardship (Weighted 90%)

  • Must meet or exceed personal annual contribution revenue targets.
  • Establish new IPF contributors in assigned regions by planning and organizing efforts to identify, cultivate, and solicit potential contributors, including businesses, individuals, and advisors through visits and other forms of direct contact.
  • Plan and organize efforts to steward existing contributor relationships that ensure recurring IPF contributions.
  • Conducts research to identify prospective contributors and to maintain current information about existing contributors.
  • Contributes to building and maintaining high-impact collateral for the IPF, including presentations, talking points, brochures, newsletters, and keepsakes.
  • Attends, participates, and presents during meetings, events, and conferences with existing and potential contributors.
  • Stays abreast of IPF contributor and market trends.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge of the IPF by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Administrative (Weighted 10%)
  • Documents and shares contributor activity using the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and other provided tools.
  • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, quality, and timeliness of deliverables.
Requirements
  • Five plus years of fundraising, sales, and/or account management experience
  • Demonstrated success in gift solicitation and/or customer sales.
  • Possesses:
  • Excellent identification and prospecting skills; ability to build and maintain prospect pipelines.
  • Excellent relationship-building and stewardship skills
  • Excellent solicitation skills
  • The ability to conduct in person cold calls throughout the business day.
  • Displays excellent customer service and follow-through.
  • Experience interacting successfully with C-suite executives and other business leaders.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, make ethical decisions, and use discretion in interactions with contributors, advisors, employees, and others.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel independently by auto within SC.
  • Bachelor's degree
Preferred
  • Medical device and/or pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Non-profit fundraising experience
  • Experience collaborating with financial advisors.
  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in business or marketing
Work Environment:
  • This position involves 90%+ time on the road throughout the state, calling on existing and prospective contributors and advisors.
  • The physical condition of the position requires frequent exposure to inclement weather, you may be exposed to rain, snow, and extreme heat or cold.
