We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented administrative / accounting professional to help support a busy and growing electrical (fire alarm and security) contracting business.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Support with general office administrative tasks (such as answering phones, sending out mail, and related tasks)
- Support Accounts Payable (AP): Input vendor bills & perform vendor account reconciliations
- Support Accounts Receivable (AR): Help prepare monthly AIA requisitions, stored material documentation and weekly collections outreach
- Support Project Management: Assist in status tracking & preparation and distribution of regularly scheduled reports. Assist in maintaining accurate and timely job costing information on job worksheets. Support adherence to project budget.
- Office administrative experience - required
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Outlook & Excel, in particular) - required
- Construction industry office experience - preferred
- Knowledge of office management software (QuickBooks/Zoho) - preferred
- Experience with purchasing and/or material management - preferred
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Comfortable shifting priorities as necessary in a busy office environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct
- Hold yourself accountable and understand how your actions impact your team and customers
- Commit to your team. Maintain a flexible, collaborative and positive attitude
Full-time position - $29+/Hour dependent on experience
