Description: Tempus Unlimited, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to delivering community-centered services aimed at empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve maximum independence in a supportive environment. The organization promotes the integration of individuals with disabilities into various aspects of society, including social, recreational, familial, and occupational activities.
The primary role of the Regional Liaison is to provide assistance to Consumers/Participants and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs)/Direct Care Workers (DCWs) regarding inquiries and issue resolution. This position will also involve offering general in-person support to visitors seeking information and documentation related to the overall Financial Independence (FI) program. The Regional Liaison will receive training to deliver support for the Tempus Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) solution. Additionally, this role will collaborate with the Consumer Advisory Board coordinator to address regional concerns and explore opportunities for improvement while ensuring compliance with Tempus quality standards and FI contract obligations.
Location: In-person daily
Hours: Standard business hours, Monday - Friday
Essential Functions
- Serve as a point of contact between Consumers/Participants and/or PCAs/DCWs and Tempus
- Address inquiries and complaints from Consumers/Participants and/or PCA/DCWs
- Provide in-person assistance for FI documentation or program-related inquiries, either scheduled or on-demand
- Assist in resolving discrepancies related to activity time reporting
- Collaborate with relevant parties to ascertain PA/WA status and determine if new PA/WA requests are necessary
- Work with relevant parties to address and resolve payment issues for PCA/DCWs
- Manage escalated issues from Consumers/Surrogates/Administrative Proxies/Waiver Participants and/or PCAs/DCWs
- Welcome visitors, assess their needs, and direct them to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain a visitor and ID badge log, issuing ID badges as needed
- Handle inquiries and provide accurate information
- Perform administrative tasks, including supporting other departments as required
- Report any suspected incidents of consumer abuse or neglect to the Disabled Person Protection Commission (DPPC)
