Description: Tempus Unlimited, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing community-based services that empower individuals with disabilities to achieve independence in a supportive environment. The organization promotes the integration of people with disabilities into various aspects of society, including social, recreational, familial, and professional activities.
The primary role of the Regional Liaison is to assist Consumers/Participants and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs)/Direct Care Workers (DCWs) with inquiries and problem resolution. This position will also involve offering general in-person support to visitors regarding questions and documentation associated with the overall Financial Independence (FI) program. The Regional Liaison will receive training to provide assistance and support for the Tempus Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) solution. Additionally, this role will coordinate with the Consumer Advisory Board coordinator to address concerns and explore opportunities within the designated region, ensuring compliance with Tempus quality standards and FI contract obligations.
Location: In-person work required
Hours: Standard business hours
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a communication bridge between Consumers/Participants and/or PCAs/DCWs and Tempus
- Address inquiries and complaints from Consumers/Participants and/or PCAs/DCWs
- Provide in-person assistance for FI documentation or program-related questions, either scheduled or on an ad-hoc basis
- Help rectify inaccuracies or discrepancies in activity time reporting
- Collaborate with relevant parties to determine Personal Assistant/Waiver status and identify if new requests are necessary
- Work with relevant parties to resolve payment issues for PCAs/DCWs
- Address escalated issues from Consumers/Surrogates/Administrative Proxies/Waiver Participants and/or PCAs/DCWs
- Welcome visitors, assess their needs, and direct them appropriately
- Maintain visitor logs and issue ID badges as necessary
- Provide accurate information in response to inquiries
- Conduct administrative tasks, including supporting other departments as time permits
- Report any suspected incidents of consumer abuse or neglect to the appropriate authorities
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Spanish or other languages is advantageous
- Familiarity with Excel and spreadsheet applications
- Professional demeanor with a friendly and understanding approach

Work Environment
This position operates within a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
