Johns Hopkins Community Physicians is looking for a Registered Nurse Team Leader Triage to join our OB/GYN Practice in Columbia, MD. At JHCP you will work beside the unequaled talent of Johns Hopkins nurses and staff and enjoy extensive benefits and opportunities for personal and professional growth. The RN provides and coordinates direct care to patients. Employs interviewing, observation, and clinical assessment skills to obtain objective and subjective data about the patient and develop a plan of care. Coordinates and prioritizes care for individuals and populations of patients. Makes administrative and/or nursing decisions in absence of manager/practice administrator. Serves as overall on-site support staff leader for daily operations. Collaborates with manager to facilitate operational work flow. Oversees departmental appointment availability. Works collaboratively and effectively with providers, support staff, other departments to maximize operational efficiency and service.

Shift: Non-exempt. - Full-time - 40 hours per week - Mon-Fri -8am-5:00 p.m.

What You'll Need to be Successful:

  • Bachelors' Degree, Associate degree, or Diploma in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing.

  • Current Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland or eligible to obtain. Current CPR certification is required.
  • Two years medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.Must possess two years of experience in a lead or supervisory position preferably in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting.
