As the US Head of Marketing & Brand, you will lead our marketing efforts for the US, focusing on enhancing our employer brand and driving strategic initiatives. Working closely with global and regional leaders, you will create marketing campaigns to promote Optiver's culture and engage recruitment candidates. In this role, your innovative ideas and marketing experience will bring Optiver to the next level.

What you'll do:
You will work alongside the Regional Chief People Officer, the Group Head of Brand, Marketing and Communications and Global Heads of Recruitment to devise and execute employer brand and marketing strategies for the region and contribute to global marketing initiatives.
As the US Head of Marketing & Brand, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain and strengthen the Optiver employer brand using strategic external branding and marketing.
  • In partnership with our Regional Chief People Officers, Heads of Recruitment and Head of Brand, Marketing and Communications, you will devise and execute employer brand and marketing strategies for the region and contribute towards global marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with our internal Global Creative Lead and external creative agency to develop regional marketing campaigns that is aligned with our global positioning and guidelines.
  • Work closely with the Global Head of Digital Marketing and an external media agency to execute our (US) paid media and performance strategy across all digital channels.
  • Conceptualizing, producing and distributing creative, differentiating rich media content (written, video, photography, etc).
  • Responsible for experiential marketing and branding to engage recruitment candidates at university and industry events.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling and engaging content across various platforms, including email, social media, websites, and corporate publications.
  • Mentor and manage a small regional team of marketing professionals.
  • Build a network of local suppliers to ensure top quality design, photography and video production to be used in marketing campaigns.

  • A strategic thinker who is able to expand our boundaries and bring new ideas, who provides a complementary skillset to Theo. Ideally, a focus on digital marketing, and understanding of our industry (FinTech) and key demographics.
  • A highly driven individual with the ability to work from ideation to execution in a hands-on capacity and through collaborating with others.
  • Excellent writing skills and proven experience in content development.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to connect our business proposition, talent market and employee value proposition in a convincing way
  • A leader who fosters a positive, collaborative work environment with regional and global teams through effective mentorship, support and guidance.
  • Currently located or willing to relocate to Chicago, IL for on-site work
