Key Qualifications
  • Providing comfortable and compassionate care for clients.
  • Monitor vital signs of clients and report any changes to the Medical Director
  • Assist with medical procedures as directed by the Medical Director
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each client.
  • Provide education to clients on health-related topics.
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to clients.
Description

The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to navigate a highly optimized and specialized environment where priorities may shift daily while working autonomously, taking initiative, and complete tasks you are responsible for. You will have a deep background in reporting standards and norms, compliance, strong written and verbal communication, and a deep understanding of the medical/nursing landscape.

In addition: You will be responsible for providing medical assistance to clients at the Sobering Center. The Medical Assistant will work under the supervision of the Medical Director and will be responsible for providing medical care to clients, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures.

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Medical EMT certified.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program
  • New Grad or Current certification as a Medical Assistant
  • Current CPR certification
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


Pay & Benefits

At Janus, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $23.00 to $26.00 per hour and your base pay will be considered on your job-related skills, training, qualifications, experience, and relevant education.
