Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team at SOS International LLC. As an EMT, you will play a critical role in providing medical support services to our clients.

Job Summary:

The EMT will be responsible for performing medical history and physical assessments, obtaining medical histories, and completing necessary paperwork. You will also assist with medical appointments, medical/mental health emergencies, and document all care provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform medical history and physical assessments
  • Obtain medical histories and complete necessary paperwork
  • Assist with medical appointments and medical/mental health emergencies
  • Document all care provided
  • Coordinate healthcare needs of patients with other staff members or custody as needed
Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have a minimum of one year of experience in direct patient care as a licensed/certified EMT in the United States
  • Candidates must be currently licensed to practice as a Nationally Registered (NR) EMT in the United States or the District of Columbia
  • All EMTs must hold current BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish encouraged, but not required
  • Experience in detention/correctional or pediatric setting encouraged, but not required
Work Environment:

The EMT will work efficiently under deadlines and pressure, and be able to keep up in a fast-paced environment. May be required to travel on short notice and serve at various medical units within sector/region.
