Systems Support Specialist

As a part of the WorkSmartPlus Support Team, the Systems Support Specialist will support Brown and Caldwell Employees with questions and issues pertaining to the Project Management System. This position will offer support and technical assistance to users who are using the BC Internal Project Management System and need help completing tasks or troubleshooting problems through system investigation and maintenance.
- Respond to incoming service requests in a timely manner, gather pertinent information and document in the Help Desk System
- Classify, and prioritize all service requests according to department standards and guidelines
- Troubleshoot issues related to the Brown and Caldwell Project Management System, and any other requests within the scope of their expertise
- Work directly with end-users to diagnose and resolve issues
- Document all activity in a timely manner using the internal Help Desk System according to departmental standards and guidelines
- Reassign and/or escalate service requests in a timely manner to the appropriate resource and level when necessary
- Maintain the resolution knowledgebase by posting all relevant solutions
- Assist with regression testing and other validations to ensure system functionality
- Effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Engage and work closely with Supervisor/Digital Services for escalated issues
- Troubleshoot system issues and engage external resources as needed to resolve issues
- Provide System SME project support as needed
- Support related systems as needed
- 1-3 years’ experience in Help Desk Support, Customer Service support, or experience as a Business Analyst.
- Proven Technical Expertise
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Patient and positive demeanor
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work tasks
- Strong attention to detail and follow through
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people
- Strong written and oral communication
Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee’s primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Location A: $24.40 - $33.50
Location B: $26.90 - $36.90
Location C: $29.30 - $40.20
