Introduction:

Technical Sales Support - Mill Lining USA is responsible for the execution of rubber and metallic mill lining product strategy for sales growth and profitability in the USA/Canada market area. The specialist works with Account Managers and Product Specialists to develop mill lining solutions for customers and grow business.

Team you belong to:

We work closely with internal // external stakeholders, such as MTB/ Screening regional/Global product support team, Mill Lining Tier 2 team, LCS local service team and SSO, Manufacturing units and design departments. Our team culture is all about solving problems and providing the best solutions to our customers. The members in our team are in York, (PA), Salt Lake City, (UT), Mesa, (AZ), Brookfield, (WI).

What you'll do:

  • Executes Mill Lining product strategy for sales growth and profitability for USA Market Area
  • Offers product support and technical assistance/analysis to existing and potential customers
  • Develops and presents value solutions for customers as well as value propositions and win plan for sales cases
  • Promotes new product designs/innovations to end-users as well as internal teams
  • Provides sales teams with new potential customer identification
  • Builds positive customer relations to generate repeated business and future leads
  • Responsible for sales target numbers in the respective region
  • Offers insight on competition and advises the team on pricing levels, etc
  • Performs product inspections and provides reports and analysis
  • Negotiates pricing levels and/or deliveries for product line
  • Responsible for product installation expertise
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Organized, autonomous, and work with minimum supervision
  • Must be physically able to climb onto structures and stairs in industrial plants and mines
Who you are:
  • 5-10 years' experience in heavy industry preferably with mineral processing equipment, preferably the related products.
  • Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of MTB/screening process and applications.
  • Knowledge of CAD and SAP.
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills, organizational, problem solving and trouble shooting skills required.
  • Experience working in a customer-focused and service-oriented environment
