Business Services serves as a liaison between IT and Business Services front line staff and is responsible for the coordination of troubleshooting, testing, support, maintenance, system administration, and enhancements of application software systems. Business Analyst I - Business Services is responsible for the integrity and efficient functioning of the business services department systems, updating related procedures and providing training. Accountable for supporting the business team through a variety of means including but not limited to operational issues, procedures, testing, training, creating reports, requests for enhancements, system releases, and providing a high degree of knowledge regarding system applications and industry compliance. Business Analyst I - Business Services is also responsible for working with management and training to ensure that business services employees have the resources, training, and knowledge to allow the credit union to meet its strategic and operational goals. Systems will include business loan tracking system (Loan Vantage), business account opening software (Meridian Link), business online banking including remote deposit capture, credit union's core processing (Episys), reporting and other ancillary systems. The Business Analyst I - Business Services will work directly with end-users and vendors to identify opportunities for process improvements, provide support in researching system issues and testing changes or enhancements. This position uses discretion and independent judgment to support, analyze, evaluate, and communicate system changes that impact operational processes of Business Services and of the credit union. Business Analyst I - Business Services will create quality RFC's and monitor the corresponding Change Request to ensure proper resolution. Business Analyst I - Business Services will ensure testing (UAT's) are completed prior to any production changes being implemented to ensure minimal impact during business hours. Business Analyst I - Business Services will analyze current processes and make formal recommendations on changes that will increase efficiency and/or reduce risks. Business Analyst I - Business Services will also perform trend analysis on recurring issues and determine what training is necessary to resolve the issues.
Job QualificationsEDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Require 2 yr. Degree in related field or Business Administration or Computer Information System or Equivalent combination of Education and Experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Three (3) years of experience to include the following:
- Business Services/Retail operations experience to include member service functions and account opening or teller functions.
- Prior experience on a project team.
- Technical requirement gathering experience.
