Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled EDI Analyst/Programmer I to join our team at University Medical Center of El Paso. As an EDI Analyst/Programmer I, you will be responsible for analyzing requirements, testing, and processing of various Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret EDI transaction sets and requirements
- Develop and implement EDI interfaces and processes
- Test and troubleshoot EDI transactions and interfaces
- Collaborate with the EDI team to ensure timely and accurate processing of EDI transactions
- Provide technical expertise and support to internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- Three years of experience in managed care applications, with a focus on EDI and data processing
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL, DTS packages, Stored Procedures, and Microsoft Windows platforms
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HIPAA transaction code sets and EDI interface engine tools
- Knowledge of relational database schemas and project management methodologies
- Experience with evaluating technology and implementing new systems
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field
