What you will do:
  • Plan and implement a well-rounded and stimulating program of activities for seniors that fosters a positive atmosphere and meets the spiritual, cultural, physical, intellectual, and social needs of residents both inside and outside the Community.
  • The primary responsibility of the Activity Director is the organization, conduct, and evaluation of planned activities.
  • Supervise activities/transportation staff, if applicable; provide training; set and adjust rates of pay and hours of work
Must haves:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of experience working with elderly
  • Shall have at least one year experience providing planned activities or have completed or be enrolled in an appropriate education or training program.
  • Must possess valid First Aid Certification
  • Valid license to drive a passenger vehicle, state required licenses, and a clean motor vehicle report.
  • Must also be available for weekend coverage and on call emergency situations on a rotating basis.
Would be great:

Pay rate $19-$20 per hour DOE
