Job Description

NSF is currently looking to add an Account Manager II Retail to its growing team supporting the Food Retail department. In this role, you will be responsible for being the main point of contact for NSF clients providing excellent customer service. As well as provide technical and administrative support to program teams as assigned. excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental health, food science, food technology, dietetics, nutrition or other related scientific area OR Bachelor's degree plus an RS/REHS certification
  • Responsible for ensuring quality customer service to clients, account managers and auditors
  • Manage assigned clients including coordination with all appropriate service areas and ensuring delivery of superior customer service
  • Collaborate and provide expertise, options and recommendations with appropriate programs or audit team member for issue resolution
  • Oversee assigned client program requirements; track accreditation and internal quality and compliance; work with management or senior client team for corrective action
  • Manage customer documentation and database systems
  • Generate client and auditor financial and activity reports for management
  • Identify areas of process improvement within assigned areas and lead implementation efforts as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental health, food science, food technology, dietetics, nutrition or other related scientific area OR Bachelor's degree plus an RS/REHS certification
  • A minimum of five (5) years related customer service experience in a business office environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc
  • Ability to work independently, follow through on all assignments and meet deadlines
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 15% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in food science or a related scientific area of study
  • A minimum of two (2) years related work experience in project/account management
  • Experience in food safety and quality programs
  • CP-FS Certification and/or RS/REHS
