Summary

The Marketing Automation Administrator plays an important in the administration, implementation and on-going maintenance of our systems delivering outbound communications to our prospects and policyholders. This role will focus on building automated campaigns and workflows, optimizing processes, and ensuring data flows are integrated and delivering timely and personalized messaging through all steps of a customer journey utilizing email, SMS, and conversational AI channels.

This role will partner with Marketing stakeholders to understand the goals of each communication and work from ideation through execution. You will be responsible for building and updating communication experiences as well as partnering with team members to develop more complex communications that leverage complex data and dynamic content.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Create, advise, and manage marketing automations setups for campaign execution including campaign optimization and recommending audience segmentation in campaign setups.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and data teams to establish scalable integrations between systems.
  • Build email templates and components based on provided design concepts.
  • Conceptualize and create unique customer journey using existing systems to enhance engagement and customer experiences while ensuring alignment with broader marketing strategies and business goals.
  • Integrate, connect, and utilize tools to build, test and deploy personalized campaigns via dynamic content using email. SMS and in-app touchpoints across all stages of the customer journey.
  • Produce and maintain documentation related to best practices, naming conventions, list management, etc.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and deliver solutions to errors or technical issues within our platforms.
  • Oversee and monitor email deliverability and email system health to maintain high levels of deliverability, opens and interactions.
  • Oversee the strategy, building and support of data connections.
  • Develop hypotheses that result in formalized testing of our messaging.
  • Drive the implementation and usage of additional data sources to ensure experiences are personalized and relevant to the recipient.
  • Develop and execute email campaigns, lead nurturing programs and customer retention programs across a wide range of business units and channels striving for a cohesive and performant customer journey.
  • Assist in the design, development, and integration of customer-facing conversational AI and chatbot interactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize technical integrations between platforms, CRM and/or CDP systems and other tools or technologies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required preferably in marketing or technology fields.
  • Must have five years of related experience.
  • Experience with 1:1 data and content personalization across the entire customer journey resulting in highly orchestrated journeys.
  • Strong experience with SMS and email marketing campaigns.
  • Solid grasp of legal compliance and laws related to outbound communications.
  • Must have hands-on experience building and executing email campaigns using enterprise-grade email marketing tools.
  • Experienced in list management and maintaining clean and current email database list.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems including experience with data management and integrations between CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Experienced in writing HTML/CSS, SQL, and webhook configurations.
  • Creative self-starter who works well in a team environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail with strong collaboration skills.
