SCA Data Technician

Locations: This position is virtual. Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of one of the following PulsePoint locations; Hingham, MA, Indianapolis, IN, Baltimore, MD, Denison, TX, Harrisburg, PA, or East Syracuse, NY.

Pay: the pay for this position varies by location, is set by the government, and is non-negotiable.

The pay is as follows:

  • Indianapolis, Indiana - $19.10

  • Hingham, Massachusetts - $ 23.17

  • Baltimore, Maryland - $ 20.01

  • Syracuse, New York - $ 18.17

  • Harrisburg, Pennsylvania - $18.54

  • Denison, Texas - $18.17

The SCA Data Technician is responsible for conducting research and collecting and entering data for complex and moderately varied issues and situations related to the Prior Authorization Program.

How you will make an impact:

  • Collects data.

  • Inputs data to spreadsheets and databases.

  • Updates databases as needed.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Requires HS diploma or equivalent; a minimum of 3 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • This position is part of our NGS (National Government Services) division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced written analytical, organizational and PC skills.

  • Processing in FISS and/or MCS claims processing system.

  • Letter processing/mailing.

  • Phone calls to providers.

  • Good interpersonal communication skills.

  • Prior Authorization/Medical Review Experience preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $18.17
