As an Industrial Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, hiring, and retaining top talent for our field, service, and distribution teams. You will also partner with vocational institutions to develop and manage apprentice programs, building strong relationships with these institutions to ensure a steady pipeline of skilled workers.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Lead recruiting efforts across different disciplines, levels, and geographies for skilled trades positions, including shop/field services technician and distribution specialist
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vocational institutions to create and manage apprentice/internship programs
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide strategic recruitment solutions
  • Conduct interviews, evaluate applicants, and make hiring recommendations
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience
  • Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms to attract and engage potential candidates
  • Research and recommend new sourcing strategies to attract active and passive candidates, building a diverse talent pipeline
  • Attend job fairs, career events, and networking opportunities to promote AWC, Inc. and its career opportunities
  • Work with our creative Marketing team in using social media and networking sites to identify and source quality candidates
  • Continuously analyze and measure the effectiveness of recruiting processes, identifying and resolving gaps in technology, processes, and resources
Skills you will need:
  • 3-5 years of experience in recruiting, specifically in industrial positions, skilled trades or a related field.
  • Proven experience partnering with vocational institutions and managing apprentice programs.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment strategies and best practices for industrial positions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, candidates, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach to recruitment.
Here's what will set you apart:
  • Specific experience with UKG as HRIS and ATS is a plus.
  • Previous experience with DISA as third-party compliance consortium.
