As a Talent Acquisition Specialist for the Industrial Sector, you will be instrumental in identifying, recruiting, and retaining exceptional talent for our field, service, and distribution teams.

Your role will also involve collaborating with vocational institutions to establish and oversee apprenticeship programs, fostering strong relationships with these organizations to ensure a consistent flow of skilled workers.


Key Responsibilities:
Lead recruitment initiatives across various disciplines, levels, and locations for skilled trades roles, including shop/field services technicians and distribution specialists.
Develop and sustain partnerships with vocational institutions to create and manage apprenticeship/internship programs.
Work closely with hiring managers to comprehend their staffing requirements and provide strategic recruitment solutions.
Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and make hiring recommendations.
Oversee the complete recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience for candidates.
Utilize diverse recruitment tools and platforms to attract and engage potential candidates.
Research and propose innovative sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive candidates, building a diverse talent pipeline.
Participate in job fairs, career events, and networking opportunities to promote AWC, Inc. and its career prospects.
Collaborate with our creative Marketing team to leverage social media and networking sites for identifying and sourcing quality candidates.
Continuously evaluate and measure the effectiveness of recruitment processes, identifying and addressing gaps in technology, processes, and resources.

Essential Skills:

3-5 years of experience in recruitment, particularly in industrial roles, skilled trades, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience collaborating with vocational institutions and managing apprenticeship programs.
Strong understanding of recruitment strategies and best practices for industrial roles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Capability to build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, candidates, and internal stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
A proactive and results-driven approach to recruitment.

Additional Qualifications:

Specific experience with UKG as HRIS and ATS is advantageous.
Prior experience with DISA as a third-party compliance consortium.
