Position Overview:
As a Craft Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing and recruiting skilled craftsmen to fulfill our workforce requirements. This position involves both active and passive recruitment strategies, including screening candidates for final hiring processes through staffing centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion and promote Brock's Bsafe and Bbest culture throughout all business interactions.
  • Analyze workforce management reports to identify current job vacancies.
  • Engage with the local community to promote company and craft job opportunities.
  • Participate in relevant job fairs and community events to enhance organizational visibility.
  • Utilize social media and networking at local events to build brand awareness.
  • Establish and maintain a robust network of contacts to identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance job postings and advertisements.
  • Reach out to applicants from the Applicant Tracking System and former employees in good standing.
  • Document applicant interactions and update their records regarding work eligibility.
  • Clearly outline the next steps in the hiring process to qualified candidates.
  • Ensure candidates are informed about Brock's drug screening and background check protocols.
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with operations and staffing center management.
  • Monitor and communicate the status of recruitment initiatives.
Working Conditions:
  • Work may involve both outdoor and indoor environments, including field, yard, and shop locations.
  • Office-based tasks will also be part of the role.
  • Personal Protective Equipment may be required as necessary.
  • Some travel may be involved.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • High level of confidentiality and sensitivity in handling personal information.
  • Self-driven with the capability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in accurate and efficient data entry.

Education and Experience:

  • Familiarity with sourcing techniques, particularly through social media.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems is advantageous.
  • Background in the construction industry or similar fields is beneficial.
