Product Marketing Manager

The Product Marketing Manager will serve as the primary liaison between the McLeod Software Product Development groups and the Marketing team. The most critical outcomes for this person’s work:
- To provide the Marketing team with the written deliverables, communications, and content needed to produce compelling, clear, concise sales literature, presentations, videos, and other media for McLeod products
- Manage new product introductions for our marketing channels and our Sales team by working with the Product teams in a repeatable, defined process
- Serve as a single point of contact, technical advisor, and liaison to the Product Development teams for the Marketing team
- Implement a repeatable New Product Introduction (NPI) process based on established methodologies widely used by other enterprise application software companies
- Work with Product Development teams and Operations groups to provide the technical content for sales collateral (print and web)
- Participate in meetings with the Product Development and QA teams to stay “plugged into” the current product development
- Work with our art, graphics, video, and other internal assets to produce the needed content for every product introduction and product promotion campaign
- Work with the Sales Services team to coordinate the introduction of new products to our Sales team
- Work with Marketing Director of Partner Programs to coordinate information and facilitate communication between third party industry partners and the Product Development teams
- Work with Sales Services to maintain competitive information and continuously improve the user experience for our Sales Team with our competitive intelligence and analysis system
- Initiate and manage our stream of research projects with Hanover Research or any contract research firm we engage in the future to support the tactical and strategic analysis of market opportunities for the company. Research and provide the customer/prospect data and target information to be the subject of our research
- Supervise the creation of content, plan topics, recruit, and coach participants for McLeod Insights - our video podcast series
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop clear, concise, and compelling messaging in a persuasive writing style
- Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently with little management oversight
- Ability to lead and influence across company functions and departments
- Proven ability to build relationships with other teams and across all levels of the company
- Strong presentation skills
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and analytical
- Experience with McLeod Software products is strongly preferred
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 5 -10 years Product Marketing or closely related experience
