Our client is a leader in the development of high and ultra-purity specialty gas equipment and solutions. They are currently seeking an Strategic Account Manager (Inside Sales Engineer) to to join their team in Malvern, PA and focus largely on one west-coast based client

This role requires a technical expert with a strong foundation in mechanical engineering and project management, who will serve as a key consultant for their clients. The Strategic Account Manager (Inside Sales Engineer) will be responsible for designing and selecting solutions to meet the specific needs of various industries, collaborating closely with an expansive internal engineering team. This position demands a proactive, problem-solving mindset, coupled with excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- System Development: Design high and ultra-high purity gas delivery systems tailored to customer requirements.
- Project Management: Oversee complex projects from order inception through design, submittal, purchasing, manufacturing, delivery, and final startup.
- Collaboration: Work with mechanical, systems, and controls engineers to generate specifications that meet industry standards and customer needs.
- Quoting and Documentation: Prepare detailed and accurate quotes, submittals, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for customers.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing challenges and delivering customized solutions.
- Client Consultation: Assess and understand the equipment needs and systems requirements of both existing and potential clients.
- Technical Support: Assist with drafting presentations and other materials to explain products and services to customers, and provide expertise to the sales team.

Job Requirements

Key Requirements:

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical products to non-technical audiences.
- Sales Skills: Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and to apply engineering principles to product sales.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software is preferred.
- ERP/MRP Systems: Experience with MRP/ERP systems is a plus.

Key Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor"s degree in Engineering or a related technical field is required.
- Experience: At least 2-4 years of experience in technical product sales or a related field is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk while working on a computer.
- Capability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
- Must be able to navigate all areas of an industrial facility.
