  • Expect the unexpected because each day is different
  • Wake up, fill up your coffee mug, and get fired up
  • Sip and Slack before diving into your team's daily to-do list, which you'll touch on in the team morning meeting
  • A little downtime for independent research
  • Prepare and share agendas, bounce between client meetings where you'll briefly banter with your client, lead the discussion, take notes, and then jot down Meeting Minutes to distribute to both the client and the team
  • Create a ticket to guide your team to success by explaining the nitty-gritty of what the client is looking for in each area of the project
  • Run the numbers on your budgets (after taking a run outside or a quick sprint through your Instagram feed) and let your team know how they're doing
  • Speaking of speed, is that website loading fast enough? Chat with the dev team about that and a new component the client asked for
  • Kindly nudge your teammates on various deliverables (and we only allow using elbows when they haven't responded to your Slack huddle requests)
  • Hit up the DMM team to check on the latest campaign performance
  • Review reports, analyze the data, and chat with the team about how to level up (So. Much. Chatting. But you love it)
  • Put your thinking cap on to strategize with the PR team about next month's pitches
  • Get social with the social media team by reviewing the latest posts and analyzing engagement data
  • You imagine taking a nice vacation-maybe to Greece or even the spa downtown?-and, while you're at it, you gather the team to plan and develop a marketing roadmap for the next six months
  • There goes the AD-Signal A client just reached out and needs to talk ASAP. Breathe, hydrate, and put on your detective hat
  • It's the first of the month, get your calculator out (and by that we mean your calculator app) and crunch some numbers for billing
  • Switch that coffee mug out for a wine glass before you input your hours for the day
  • Repeat

At KPS3, our account directors are expected to be a master at three things:
  1. Strategy - Working with the Vice President of Strategy and respective division leads to develop and execute strategies for our clients
  2. Account Management - Building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients and the internal team
  3. Project Management - Effectively managing project timelines and budgets

Account Directors should be bright, communicative, curious, and driven team-players who love project management, strategy, data, and collaboration. You'll work closely with the entire team to support clients and will support the VP of Strategy on developing marketing plans and strategic briefs.

Our account directors must be able to understand their clients' needs, business objectives, and trends in order to contribute to an effective strategy. Additionally, they must manage each task and project efficiently to ensure successful completion of projects to the highest quality standards, on-time, and within budget. Lastly, account directors are the face of KPS3 and represent both the quality and breadth of services we provide. While various specialists are pulled in to support the client, ultimately the account director is the lead.

We seek an account director with experience in and passion for:
  • Marketing strategy
  • Managing and maintaining traditional and digital marketing programs
  • Project management
  • Managing website development
  • Working with a team of specialists (designers, developers, PR specialists, search specialists, etc.)
  • Strong writing skills
  • Solid communication skills
  • Maintaining accuracy and quality
  • Timeline and budget management
Gotta have:
  • Agency experience (or equivalent)
  • Curiosity
  • Project management skills
  • A knack for finding solutions
  • Ability to keep the internal team and our clients happy
  • Understanding of marketing strategy, digital marketing, public relations, and website project management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • An ability to anticipate clients' and teams' wants and needs before they even ask
