Responsibilities

Position Overview

Supports program expansion and support in each community based office. Directly provides support in the following categories: 1) interviewing 2) new hire training/support 3) field supervision, 4) administrative assistance, 5) sick/vacation coverage, and 6) other expansion-related responsibilities specific to the market.

Essential duties include but are not limited to:

  • Effectively provides oversight of new admissions in a start-up and maintains customer relations through high communication.
  • Develops basic skills of new clinical staff through on the job training and classroom instruction.
  • Assists with onboarding new staff as a support
  • Assist with or lead any special projects assigned by the Director.
  • Coordinates recruiting and hiring of new staff to assist the regional supervisor.
  • Provides direct field supervision visits to help develop new clinical staff (counselors and/or supervisors).
  • Reviews notes and information collected to identify problems and concerns and develops specific recommendations in relation to identified problems.
  • Provides basic administrative support to ensure basic needs (materials needed to complete job requirements) are met.
  • Supports coverage for sick and vacation time
  • Provides support for UR prep to staff and initial gateway plans
  • Models YV mission and values and helps motivate new staff dedicated to the start-up to build a positive YV culture.
  • Will carry 2 cases at all times.
Qualifications

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree is requiredAt least 6 months of experience working with Youth Villages is preferred

CPS graduated is preferred.Leadership experience is a plusStrong leadership skillsExcellent written and oral communication skills Ability to maintain a flexible scheduleProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to train and lead staffStrong time management and organizational skills
