Role Overview:

The Long Term Care Account Specialist is tasked with overseeing a designated geographic area and driving the promotion and expansion of Neurocrine products within the Long Term Care (LTC) sector. This position is crucial in establishing and nurturing enduring relationships with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders within the assigned territory, effectively representing Neurocrine’s brand and its approved applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement sales strategies and marketing initiatives to achieve or surpass sales targets through direct interactions, including in-office visits and educational presentations.
  • Develop and execute effective strategies to enhance market penetration within the psychiatric and movement disorder segments in Long Term Care.
  • Utilize promotional resources and budget efficiently to maximize impact.
  • Foster strong communication and collaborative relationships with colleagues and cross-functional teams, including managed care and medical communications.
  • Uphold integrity and transparency while adhering to company standards and compliance policies.
  • Identify opportunities and challenges specific to the territory to drive product and organizational success.
  • Cultivate relationships with local Opinion Leaders to align objectives and strategies.
  • Adhere to the highest ethical standards in all responsibilities, including compliance with FDA guidelines.
  • Employ account management strategies to meet objectives by addressing the needs of all members of the patient care team.
  • Manage relationships with key customers, including opinion leaders, advocacy groups, long-term care facilities, and local payers.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or related field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial pharma/biotech, including at least 3 years in specialty pharmaceutical sales, preferably with 2 years in Long Term Care.
  • Alternatively, a Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least 6 years of similar experience.

Compensation:

The anticipated annual base salary for this position ranges from $118,200.00 to $171,000.00, with individual compensation influenced by various factors such as location, role complexity, and relevant experience. Additionally, this role includes an incentive compensation plan and participation in an equity-based long-term incentive program, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
