General

This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Director of People Services with interactions across all company employees, candidates, and visitors.

The ideal candidate must be able to represent the company professionally, embodying its values and culture while collaborating with all levels of staff in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, interviewing candidates, and selecting qualified individuals for various roles.
  • Conduct background checks, security clearances, and reference verifications.
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they understand the company policies, benefits, and operational procedures.
  • Assist with document collection and file management for new hires and existing employees.
  • Assist with HR software systems for tracking employee data and performance.
  • Use technology to improve HR functions.
  • Assist with maintaining the company's Drug and Alcohol Testing Program in compliance with FAA, DOT, and other relevant aviation industry regulations.
  • Assist with managing the RAP Back program to ensure compliance with TSA regulations and other federal security requirements for employees in safety-sensitive aviation positions.
  • Assist with office supply inventory, employee requests, and department inquiries.
  • General HR duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in typing with a minimum speed of 60 words per minute (WPM) with a high level of accuracy, ensuring efficient data entry, document preparation, and communication.
  • Proven ability to assist with the recruitment process.
  • Experience in assisting with the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Proficiency in assisting with the collection, organization, and management of employee files and documentation.
  • Knowledge and experience working with HR software systems.
  • Familiarity with using technology to streamline and improve HR functions.
  • Must be available to work in the office Monday through Friday, with occasional flexibility to work outside normal business hours as needed.
