Located in the heart of Kansas City, Missouri, this hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both remotely and in-office, supporting our dynamic team.

How You'll Spend Your Time:

Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:

  • Assist hiring managers with the end-to-end recruitment process, from job postings to candidate selection.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop strategic recruitment plans.
  • Cultivate relationships with external recruitment agencies and job boards to ensure a steady pipeline of top talent.
Onboarding and Training:
  • Manage and iterate on the new hire onboarding process that sets new hires up for success.
  • Equip employees with the tools and resources they need to excel in their roles.
Employee Relations:
  • Be the first line of defense for employees on HR-related matters.
  • Address and resolve employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances with empathy and fairness.
  • Lead by example as a champion of the culture
Performance Management:
  • Support the performance appraisal process, ensuring it's both fair and constructive.
  • Guide supervisors and employees through performance improvement plans when needed.
  • Ensure all employee records are maintained and updated
HR Compliance:
  • Stay ahead of labor laws and regulations, keeping the company compliant.
  • Regularly update and maintain HR policies and procedures.
  • Promote adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
Benefits Administration:
  • Answer employee questions as it relates to benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Assist with the open enrollment process and ensure employees understand their benefits options.

  • Proven HR Background: With at least 2 years of experience in HR, you've demonstrated your ability navigate complex situations, and make decisions that drive positive outcomes.
  • Knowledge of HR Best Practices: Your experience in employment laws and HR best practices ensures that our company remains compliant, efficient, and ahead of industry trends.
  • Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You're a skilled communicator, able to build strong relationships with employees, resolve conflicts, and foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Tech-Savvy HR Professional: You're proficient in HR software and tools, using technology to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and provide data-driven insights.
  • Educational Foundation: You hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communication, or a related field, providing you with a solid foundation in HR principles and practices.
  • Certification Advantage: While not required, an HR certification like SHRM-CP or PHR is preferred, showcasing your commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
