Responsibility:

We seek a fast learner who can become a subject matter expert in our production environment. Responsibilities include:
  • Leading and performing machine risk assessments to maintain machine safety standards.
  • Supporting blending and packaging systems across North American manufacturing plants, utilizing expertise in Siemens PCS7, Rockwell ControlLogix, SLC, PLC5, FactoryTalk View, and AutoCAD.
  • Supporting capital projects with control system elements, led by Process, Packaging, or plant engineers.
  • Overseeing 3rd party panel builds for plant upgrades and capital projects to ensure adherence to corporate standards, NFPA Standards, and best practices.
  • Supporting OT Networks and Cyber Security Initiatives.
  • Developing and maintaining a 5-year EIC plan to address obsolescence in N.A. plants.
  • Providing subject matter expertise while assisting third-party controls system support across domestic sites.
  • Continuing education and staying current with industry trends.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Direct Client.

Qualification Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Controls/Instrumentation).
  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience in consumer product controls work and project execution.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Proficiency in Siemens PCS7 & Batch/DCS, ProFiBus DP & PA, Profinet, Rockwell PLC's and software, Sistema.
  • Knowledge of Safety Controls (Machine safety) and Safety Systems Design & Programming, including safety categories.
  • Ability to travel 40-50%.
Proffered:
  • Master's in Engineering or Business Administration is a plus.
  • Experience in blending controls development, OEE data collection implementation, and packaging line integration.
  • Professional Engineer Licenses.
  • Rockwell Automation Product Certification.
  • Siemens Product Certifications.
  • Project Management Certifications.
